I haven't changed but that will end soon. Wife is back to hardly working at all. I have a few purchases coming up but after that it could come to a little here and there.

I have to agree with Chuck. I am spending 10 or twenty times more then I have spent in 25+ years of keeping breeding and raising fish (not including the gaint tank purchase)

Hasn't affected me at all, I still don't have enough money. It all depends on your perspecive for jobs. My job is rather secure, I'm pretty sure the entire airline would need to go under for me to lose my job. I'm also on a payscale so it doesn't change (other then to go up). Others, such as those in construction or other tenous industries are far more sussecptiable (spelling I know).

Man, i am working longer hours than ever AND for less money than i've made each of the last 4 years, leaving me very little time to mess around with the tank and invent new projects to spend more money on. I am having a rough time keeping up with what i have these days!

I have been spending a lot less lately. I have even thought about breaking down my tank to save more money, but I really don't want to go that rout.

Spending more than ever!!!! And more broke than ever!!!!! I just think of it as my savings account when ever I need money I can just sell a little here or there.....I thought the big tank would kill me but in reality I think I spend about 50 a month on maintaining it and salt....and prolly another 50 to 75 on power...I made the tank as energy effeciant as possible and its working quiet well considering the size I can run everything off a single 15amp breaker......so I know I'm not using to much power....
